Welcome to our blog!

Hi everyone!

I’m Michelle from {save}, and typically handle all things related to operations!

I’ve been with {save} since the fall, and I feel grateful to be involved in such a wonderful, woman owned small business. In my previous roles I’ve had to endure the hustle and bustle of the Washington D.C. area and rarely had time for myself. Now, I live in the Shenandoah Valley with my husband and son with another little one on the way (any day now)!

Since starting with the company I’ve been consistently impressed with Joanna, Michal and the rest of the team. Not only because of their work ethic but because of their commitment to serving the community. It’s rare to find a for-profit company with such a strong focus on lifting others. In fact, the first {save} event I was involved in was a benefit for the local domestic women’s shelter in which all proceeds went directly to the shelter.

I’ve never thought much about my skin, and had a simple routine of washing my face in the shower. That’s it. No moisturizer. No eye cream. Nothing.

Since starting at {save} things have changed. I’ve been able to slow down a bit, and am understanding the importance of taking time for myself. I love using the facial cleanser, as it’s a much different feeling than I’d been used to, and much gentler. (My husband is almost a bigger fan than I am!) In the summer the Ultra-Light Moisturizer is amazing and keeps my skin hydrated, but not oily. In winter, I like the Anti-pollution Moisturizer mixer with the Vitamin C Booster.

Not only is my skin looking more radiant, I appreciate the clean approach from {save}. Especially as I’m expecting, I’ve been more focused on using clean products, and I like knowing that there is something out there that is effective without scary additives.

My favorite part of operations is hearing from customers! Please reach out to us with questions or comments. Contact@saveskincare.com Can’t wait to hear from you! <3
